Arcadia Girls Academy is located on twelve beautiful wooded acres in southwest Florida. The surrounding area consists of orange groves, farms and cattle ranches. Our campus includes three main buildings, a small barn, storage and utility buildings, a pond and a softball field. Tall pines and outstretched oaks provide shade and serenity. The students raise pigs and rabbits, and care for about 15 to 20 laying hens. The students also help to plant and grow a vegetable garden twice annually.(and they get to eat the harvest). To top it off wild turkeys and deer are seen regularly on campus. Students enjoy campfires complete with weenie roasts and smores as well as playing volley ball, softball, basketball, croquet or just sunbathing. Many of our students remark at how peaceful they feel after they have settled into their new surroundings. We endeavor to continually provide a therapeutic environment where young ladies may have a spiritual awakening and time for journaling, prayer walks and a place for rekindling the dream that is hidden within them.
