Providing Teens and Their Families an Opportunity For Recovery
Dancing for an audience of “One”

Hello, I’m Roberta and also the Director of Education at AGA. Arcadia Girls Academy was birthed out of my own personal passion to see troubled teenagers transformed out of the bondage of their past hurts and traumas, into the successful leaders of tomorrow. Since 1999 that passion has been spurred on by many caring individuals who put feet to their faith in order to help today’s troubled teens find hope and healing. I believe God still speaks to us through His Word, and still has a purpose and plan for each life. I also believe I speak for everyone at AGA, when I say that our common goal is to see each teenage girl recover from past hurts so that she will be able to find her God given purpose and fulfill her destiny.

We realize that making a decision to enroll your child in a residential boarding school for any length of time is extremely difficult. We also know that by the time you are reading this you are probably exhausted physically and emotionally, not to mention a little heartbroken. Many parents are guilt ridden and are not sure of any of their decisions at this point. Don’t lose hope. There is hope available that works. We suggest you look into at least two others similar programs before making your final decision to bring your child to Arcadia Girls Academy. We know this is a big step for any family and we want you to be sure and confident about your decision. We also have transport services available if you feel you are not able to get your teen to us safely. If we are not able to accommodate your need for whatever reason, please contact us by phone or e-mail and we will do everything we can to get you some help somewhere. If you just need prayer for you and your daughter, please call us. We believe prayer changes things!

We are here to provide troubled teens and their families the best possible opportunity for recovery and reconciliation with all the resources that are available to us. Our first and greatest resource is God’s Word. The Bible is the original and best book ever written for recovery. God had us covered with His love and His direct connection in our original “state” when He first created us. Then humans went their own way and became “uncovered”, which began the downward spiral of humanity, which we are dealing with today.

Welcome
Welcome to Arcadia Girls Academy!
That’s why we need to be recovered, recovery is not optional… it is essential to life. Jesus said it best…” I have come so that you would have life and life more abundant.” Without recovery we flounder around and become self-destructive. God is the only one who can recover us. He makes true and lasting recovery possible. Without God we are repeatedly disappointed and we find substitutions that only provide temporary relief for our hurts. Premarital sex, drug and alcohol abuse, and running away are just some of the ways troubled teens try to find relief from their brokenness.

Through His Word we meet God who is waiting for all of us to turn back to Him, letting Him do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. He wants to recover the wonderful life He has originally planned for us. The only hope for parents as well as their troubled teens is to begin trusting Him, who made us.

OUR MISSION:

To help youth and their families initiate the process of recovery from life-controlling issues by reaching them with the message of true unconditional love found only in Jesus Christ. Through a safe, loving, artistic, and structured environment we endeavor to help young people grow spiritually, emotionally and academically to become all that God has created them to be.

WE BELIEVE…

• The Bible to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.
• That there is one God, Creator of all things.
• That He is existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles then and now. He died on a cross, shed His blood to atone for our sins, and provides us physical, emotional and spiritual healing. He was resurrected bodily from the grave, ascended to the right hand of our Heavenly Father, and will return in person in power and glory.
• There is a present ministry of the Holy Spirit who indwells, guides, instructs, and empowers the believer for Godly living and service.
• That it is vital to fellowship with other believers and to recognize that we are united in the one body of Christ as members of the New Testament Church today.
• In the taking of the symbols of the body and blood of Christ , our communion which is our sacred union with Christ.
• In water baptism by immersion which testifies to a heart cleansing by God’s grace and a public witness of that inner work.
• In the promise of the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ together with those who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, which is the imminent and blessed hope of the church.
